These terms cover the Hush Newborn app and the sync service behind it. Using the app means you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed — they are short.
Hush Newborn is a baby-care tracker: feeds, sleep, diapers, medicines, growth, milestones, and vaccines, logged by up to two caregivers in one shared household and synced between their phones. It is made for adults.
Hush Newborn is not medical advice. It records what you choose to enter and shows it back to you. It does not diagnose, treat, or make recommendations about your baby's health, feeding, sleep, or medication. For anything concerning your baby's health, talk to your pediatrician — never delay care because of something an app did or didn't show.
You own everything you enter. We claim no rights to it beyond what is needed to sync and back it up for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can have the server copy deleted at any time.
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to access other households' data, no probing or overloading the sync server, no reverse-billing tricks. A household is one family's shared record, not a multi-tenant data store.
We work hard to keep sync fast and the backup safe, and the app is built so that it keeps working even when the network doesn't. Still, the service is provided "as is": we can't promise uninterrupted availability, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights that your local consumer law gives you regardless of contract.
The app is distributed through the App Store, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app where these terms don't say otherwise. Apple is not responsible for the app or this service and has no obligation to you regarding them.
You can stop using the app at any time; deleting it and asking for server deletion (see the Privacy Policy) removes your data. We may suspend access that violates the fair-use rules above.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will say so and this page will show a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
